Joining the Haruna Chapter of the KCC provides access to the "Climbers Chalet", "Climbers Hut", and the campground 30 seconds walk from the Haruna Shine with ample parking.  Lodging, Meals and 1 and 2 day climbing instruction are available at the Chalet, and no-facilities sleeping areas in the Hut.  If you're looking for an environment to bring a non-climbing friend or family member, they'll find plenty of tourist opportunities in the area.  Regardless you'll enjoy the same climbers community you'll find at the crag.
